A quiet week

Monday 4th May 2015

We'd planned to stay at Margaret River until today but because the event was finished and the weather forecast was appalling, we come home early so today was my day off.  After a busy weekend outdoors I had a long lie in but had caught the geocaching bug (literally) and after some research I discovered that you can buy and launch trackable Travel Bugs and give them missions to complete as they travel from cache to cache.

I took the bus to the city and found a cache behind a church and bought a koala keyring to use with my Travel Bug.  I plan to give it a mission to find its way to Kenilworth, UK!

The afternoon I filled with crocheting and watching TV.

Tuesday 5th May 2015

A regular day with the kids (including lunch in Leederville) and I babysat for Emily and Oliver around the corner who are delightful kids and they knew all the words to their bedtime story!

Wednesday 6th May 2015

After I'd dropped Hayden at school (Sophie had gone early with Jo and Justin because she had choir), I drove straight to the library to start some job applications for September.  A swarm of 4 boys came home with us and they played loudly in the garden.

Thursday 7th May 2015

More job applications!  And a regular day with the kids although Hayden laboured over his homework while Sophie and I did origami!

Friday 8th May 2015

My tracking tags for Kenny the Koala (my travel bug) arrived today so I registered the tracking number and wrote his profile and mission.

Sophie was supposed to play football after school but nobody was there!  It turns out we were at the wrong oval! Oops!  Back at home I gave the kids a quick snack before Jo took them to the disco.
