They say a picture tells a thousand words...

...so this blog will be mostly photos. When I finished the last blog I was journeying from Byron Bay (which, if you know Leamington Peace Festival, turn that into a town and add a beach, you have Byron Bay) to Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast. I feel like you couldn't make these place names up but clearly someone did! 

Anyway, I got a joint ticket for Warner Bros Movie World and Sea World. Yesterday I was like a kid in a sweet shop, rushing from roller coaster to stunt show to character photographs at Movie World which is similar to Disneyland only much smaller. It was a combination of DC comic theme and Looney Tunes/Scooby Doo so I giggled/screamed round Superman, Green Lantern and Batman roller coasters and watched a stunt show and parade. In amongst all that I took selfies with some of the characters. 

Then this morning I went to Sea World where I oohed and wowed at dolphin and jet ski shows, zoomed on a jet ski roller coaster, chuckled at the Spongebob parade and rode on the monorail. In the dolphin show, where people appear to be floating on the water, dolphins are actually pushing them over the water!

This afternoon I went into the main part of Surfers Paradise and the beach is sooooo long! I worked out how to take a panoramic photo to do it justice!

Finally, this evening I made it to a cafe/restaurant I found on my 1st day here. Everything on the menu is chocolate related! My idea of heaven! Check out Maxbrenner.com.
